I am just another person walking the path. I have some gifts, some useful experience, and the guidance of Jesus and the Holy Spirit. As do you. Whether we are aware of it or not, we are all facets of the same diamond, all beating in the same heart, all thinking through the same mind. I have been a student of A Course in Miracles since 1997. I was introduced to the Course a few years before, but I scoffed and dismissed it. Several years later a personal crisis had me desperately praying to a God that didn’t make sense to me and A Course in Miracles crossed my path again. This time I couldn’t put it down. I started teaching the Course in 2005.

Through group classes, individual sessions, phone and online services, I help students understand the metaphysical thought system of the Course, how to apply the concepts of forgiveness, salvation, undoing, right perception, and, of course, miracles.

Amy Torres is a Gestalt psychotherapist and teaches A Course in Miracles, which forms the foundation of her work. She is also an EFT practitioner, a heart rhythm meditation instructor, and a writer (her work has appeared in Graphis, Adweek, Creativity, Career Woman and New York Spirit) and a creative writing workshop leader. She has developed the Language of Love, Harmony & Beauty^© which is a form of emotionally responsible communication, conflict negotiation, and a way of "undoing" our identification with the ego.
Ms. Torres is an interfaith minister serving in the Outreach Ministry of One Spirit Interfaith. She loves dance, yoga, tai chi, the Sufi turn, latihan, and all forms of percussion and authentic movement. Her practice is based in New York City.
